I am recording my own doodles more often now and then. As a person who really enjoys watching other artists during their drawing process it might be also interesting to do a speedpainting on my own to observe my own workflow a bit.

I remember that it made me nervous long time ago whenever I knew that my capture program was running. At the same time I got the feeling that I became less insecure when it came to my strokes and lines. The recent results tend to be a bit more sketchy. It is a good way to handle my speedpaintings though, because I can draw at ease without expecting too much.
Tsulin, Manati & their daughters
This illustration above was a gift for my mother on Mother’s Day which depicts characters from my manga. Only the two older looking women (captain Henelore Manati on the left and officer Tsulin HooLee Jing on the right) already appeared in the current prologue chapter. Their daughters have yet to be introduced. Some of my readers were suprised that both already have kids because they are looking so young. As a matter of fact, Manati and Tsulin became close friends since they both have to deal with raising a child at a young age (only Tsulin is a single mother though).
More process videos in future
I bought an video editor a while ago to improve my workflow and to get faster. I did not expect that it actually makes a lot of fun so far to create those videos. As for Youtube I am not entirely sure if it’s worth investing much time into my channel. However, it might be a good opportunity to promote my project a bit with my speedpaintings.
