I’m Huy Vu, also known as Thaumana, a freelance manga illustrator and the creator of Erlmaiden Discordia – an online fantasy manga with murder-mystery-elements.
Synopsis:
In the world of Quandrum, magic and monsters invading from another dimension are part of everyday life. Winrow, a professional mixologist and broker, wants to free his dragon girlfriend Taya from a curse that sealed her magic away. The only key to the solution is a magic heirloom which he has to claim by winning the inheritance trial against his half-sister. This conflict is just the beginning of a twisted family feud which has the magnitude to make the giant monsters seem like a minor problem.
About Patreon & Project Discordia
There is a story I really want to tell. A story which I worked on for almost a decade and embodies my whole passion for drawing and story-telling in general. This project shaped both my life and personality. The world, creatures and many characters for instance were influenced by many favorite works of pop culture that I enjoyed throughout my childhood, especially videogames.
By supporting my projects like Erlmaiden Discordia through Patreon, you will help me speed up the production of new manga pages and eventually support me to reach my dream in the future: To focus on my manga full-time without the uncertainty regarding my financial situation. I am currently offering tons of commission and also do additional free-lance work to cover the minimum of my livelihood. On top of this, I am also trying other ways out to earn passive income which helps me to improve my life situation like selling my own merchandise online. Buying my official products on platforms like Redbubble that are also part of my manga brand is one of many methods to support me. My website thaumana.com serves as an interactive encyclopedia for my manga. The Erlmaiden Discordia wiki is getting updated regularly with making-of posts, character profiles and various background information about the world of Quandrum. I also offer the whole project content as preview on Patreon several months before I release them on my homepage. Your support will help me in the long term so that I will be able to work on my manga independently.
