Terms of Service

Actual prices for individual commission applications can vary and depend on the degree of details. Final prices will be determined after the greenlight of the first sketch.
Additional prices for background elements, additional expressions depend on degree of details (no costs for simple colored textures).
No discounts for additional characters since the work amount is the same as for single new drawn characters.
Different CG poses are handled like completely new drawn characters.
I reserve my rights to modify all commissions for advertisement purposes.*
I reserve my rights to use the PSDs and artworks as part of my Patreon reward content.*
Commercial or business use without prior arrangement and compensation is forbidden.*
Do not sell, steal, trace, or heavily reference my art without my consent.

*I am also working on projects which are kept under wraps. In case of discretion the purpose of the commission needs to be clarified prior to the negotiation.

Commission Steps

Sending me a message to info[a]thaumana.com or on my Twitter account (@erlmaiden) is sufficient.

1. You send me the description and idea (character depiction, pose, expression etc.) and I’ll send you a draft then. References would be great!

2. After your greenlight I begin with the creation progress. (depending on the details of the lineart there’s the possibility that I ask for a small upfront payment).

3. After several progress steps I will send you a thumbnail of the result and after the final payment you’ll get the HD version (PSD is optional).

Additional notes about the working process

I have a disability since birth that affects my hand and arm, so I consider myself inefficient in daily life and work. Please keep in mind that you should not commission me if you are looking for very quick, rushed results within a few days, as it takes me some time to finish my work.
The number of steps for split commissions don’t indicate the same split for the invoices in percentage terms. For example: If the commission process is split into 2 payment milestone steps, it does not necessarily mean, that the invoices represent a 50:50 split. It can also be a 40:60 split or any other ratio.
